Terms and Conditions
Data protection consent
The hotelier undertakes to use the data provided by the booker or guest only within the scope of his
enquiry or booking and its invoicing and processing and not to pass them on to third parties. The
hotel entrance area is under video surveillance for the safety of guests and employees.
The recordings are deleted regularly automatically. With a booking or check in at CVJM City Hotel you
accept these Terms and Conditions.
Provision of rooms
Reserved rooms are available to the guest from 3.00 pm. The guest does not acquire any entitlement
to the provision of specific rooms or premises (events). If the agreed rooms are not available, the
hotelier is obliged to endeavour to find an equivalent replacement in the hotel or in other properties.
Events organised by parties that do not belong to the 5 mainstream parties (SPD, CDU, FDP, Die
Grünen, Die Linke) or those that are contrary to good morals or the philosophy of the YMCA can be
be rejected by the representative of the hotel or the CVJM Hannover e.V. without giving reasons and
cancelled without replacement. This also applies if the organiser or purpose of the event only
becomes known after confirmation of the event or on the day of the event itself.
Deposits
If Deposit payments requested by the hotel are not made by the requested date (unless a date is
specified no later than 30 days prior to arrival)this may immediately release the hotelier from the
agreements made.
Cancellations
Individual bookings except trade fair/high season periods can be cancelled free of charge up to 6
p.m. on the evening before arrival. Excludes single rooms of category B and NONREF rates.
Trade fair bookings for complete rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 60 days (OTA bookings
90 days) before arrival ( excludes individual room nights). Group bookings except trade fair/high
season periods of 10 rooms or more and conferences can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days
before arrival. 10% of the booked rooms/participants by 6 p.m. on the day before arrival. Up to 10%
of the number of persons for conference catering can be modified free of charge up to 3 working
days before the event. The hotelier reserves the right to apply the same cancellation deadlines.
Payment
Guest invoices are to be paid immediately net cash. The Hotelier reserves the right to obtain
information about the creditworthiness of the Contractual Partner and, if necessary, to refuse
payment on account.
Invoicing
Invoices sent on the basis of previous credit agreements are due immediately. From 7 days after
invoicing Outstanding amounts are subject to a monthly default interest of 7.5 % (per month or part
thereof). The hotel is entitled to refuse foreign currency, cheques and credit cards.
The following credit cards are accepted for full-paying guests: Mastercard, Visa, American Express.
Vouchers from tour operators are only accepted if a credit agreement exists with the company in
question or if corresponding advance payments have been made.
Reimbursement through vouchers for authorised and unused services to guests is not possible.
In the case of agreed special prices the hotelier reserves the right to insist on cash payment or EC
cash payment. Company or à-conto invoices will only be sent as a pdf file by e-mail.
If an invoice is requested by post, the processing costs will be passed on to the invoice recipient.
However, this does not release the recipient from the immediate due date of payment upon delivery
by mail.
Liability
The contractual partner of the hotel or the guest as such or as host is fully liable to the hotelier for
damage caused by him or his guests.
This also applies to any contamination of the premises used beyond the normal level.
Any use of the rooms provided to the guest that deviates from the agreement shall entitle the hotel
to terminate the contractual contractual relationship without this reducing the entitlement to the
agreed remuneration. If the hotelier is hindered in the fulfilment of its services due to force majeure,
pandemic or strike, no liability for damages can be derived from this. However, the hotelier shall
endeavour towards the client to procure equivalent services elsewhere.
The hotel is liable to the guest in accordance with the provisions of the BGB (100 times the room
rate, but no more than 1000 €). The liability of the hotel is excluded if the room or the containers in
which the guest leaves items are left unlocked. Cash money and valuables is only liable up to the
amount of Euro 750.00 in accordance with §701 BGB if the valuables are stolen from the locked room
safe. Guests will be charged €150 for lost room keys and € 250.00 for deep cleaning of non-smoking
rooms in which has been smoked. The hotelier accepts no liability for health problems that occur due
to intolerances. Nevertheless, he will always endeavour avoid allergens in food if intolerances are
reported by the guest in good time (5 working days) before the start of the stay.
The allergen declaration can be viewed by the service staff in the dining room on request.
Departure
Guests are requested to inform reception of their departure by 9.00 a.m. at the latest. Departure
should take place by 10.00 a.m., or otherwise an arrangement should be made with the hotel
reception. A charge of €10.00 will be made for each additional hour.
Commitment of offers
The prices quoted are inclusive prices and include service charge and 19 % ( F&B, extras ) or 7 %
( lodging ) VAT. If the period between conclusion of the contract and provision of the service exceeds
180 days, the hotel reserves the right to make price changes without prior notice.
Changes to the proportionate VAT rate or municipal municipal taxes such as tourism tax shall be
borne by the client irrespective of the date of conclusion of the contract.
All price labelling and agreements are in Euros. If foreign currencies are mentioned, this is exclusively
on the basis of the exchange rate valid at the time of publication.
Mention of Name
The use of the name of the establishment and associated parts of the establishment in connection
with advertising measures of the
contractual partner requires the consent of the hotelier in text form.
Exclusion of third parties
Claims and rights arising from agreements made with the hotel may only be transferred to third
parties with the hotelier's consent.
Wake-up calls
The hotel will endeavour to carry out wake-up calls with the utmost care. However, claims for
damages arising from failure to do so are excluded.
Lost property
Lost property will only be forwarded on request. The hotel undertakes to keep them for 6 months.
Postage will be charged to the guest.
Mail and consignments
Messages, post and consignments for the attention of guests are handled with care.
The hotel takes over the storage for up to 3 days free of charge, delivery and, on request, forwarding
of the same. Liability for loss, delay or damage or damage is excluded.
Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is Hanover.
Any deviating general terms and conditions of the customer are expressly excluded. By making a
booking you recognize the GTC.
